MOURIR POUR L'EVEREST

Mark Inglis, New Zealand lost both legs in a mountain expedition, decided in 2006 to attempt the ascent of Everest with two prostheses. As they arrive at night in the''death zone''in 8500 meters, he and his companions discovered a man sitting in a rocky hollow. His body is half frozen, but still breathing. This is David Sharp, a young British climber. Believing they can not do anything to save him, they decided to continue their ascent toward the highest peak in the world ... On their return, Sir Edmund Hillary and the media harshly criticize this attitude. But what has really happened on Everest? The shock film by Richard Dennison can reconstruct precisely the drama and ask the question bluntly commercial expeditions to Everest.
