Available for the first time on DVD this 1962 film follows Chris Bonington, Don Whillans plus a host of other mountaineering ‘stars’ of the time as they set sail from Liverpool for the 10,000 mile journey to Patagonia to attempt the 1st ascent of the Central Tower of Paine - extras also include Mac and Leo having some ‘fun’ with the commentary and some extra ‘words of wisdom’ from Chris Bonington.
