As part of the preparation for the BBC Scotland’s hugely successful Great Climbs live outside broadcast, Dave MacLeod and Tim Emmett came up with the ultimate climbing challenge - 5 new routes of E6 and above in 5 days on 5 different Scottish islands. The idea behind this film was as a backup to be shown on the television in case the Great Climb was unable to go ahead. Tides, weather, fatigue and the sheer difficulty of the routes were all against them; this 2 disc DVD set charts the remarkable events over this 5 day period.
